Investors are entitled to receive a 15% Federal tax credit and a 20% Provincial tax credit for a total 35% tax credit to a maximum contribution of $5,000 annually. GREATER TAX CREDITS FROM GOLDEN OPPORTUNITIES FUND One of the main differences between Golden Opportunities Fund and Federal Labour-sponsored Investment Funds is the Provincial tax credit. The Provincial tax credit available through the purchase of Golden Opportunities Fund is 20% to a maximum contribution of $5,000, providing for a Provincial tax credit up to $1,000.
